Heather Dieter Bartmann

Heather was born in England in 1945 and grew up in, then rural, Naperville, Illinois. She graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago and studied Ornithology at Colorado State University.
Most of her creative years were spent in the study and painting of birds. In 2007 she experienced clay in classes at the Fort Collins Pottery Studio. It was life changing. Heather has been a teacher there since 2008. The explosion of creative possibilities led to a home studio.
