WEEKEND POPUP ART SHOW INFORMATION

Solo Art Show or with a group …. Design your own show                                1,000 sq.ft. space with 128 sq ft wall space (32’x4’) for display hanging on white peg boards - portable grid walls available if additional hanging space is needed

Separate 250 sq.ft. carpeted reception area available to be used however you like

NOCOAC Space Guidelines:

  • Alcohol can not be served at any function, at this location. 

  • The loft is off limits and not available for events.

  • Drop Cloths are to be used for messy events.

  • Children must be supervised while out in the parking lot.

  • ENTRY INTO FACILITY

    • Code will be given for the door

  • EMERGENCY EXIT Back door in Industrial Space — always locked but can be pushed open from inside - will lock once closed

Your reservation will be confirmed within 48 hours upon receiving your application.

SPACE AMENITIES: display space is only on peg boards and portable grid walls, if more space is needed.

TIME AVAILABLE: Friday 8am - Monday 2pm
AMENITIES:

  • portable grid walls - upon request

  • 15 folding chairs

  • Three, 6’ folding tables, One, oval 6’ table

  • One, café table with 4 stools

  • Microwave, refig., coffee maker 

  • Utility sink for art cleanup / 3 drop cloths

  • 128 sq ft (32’x4’) peg boards & pegs for hanging

  • WIFI

 

○ Allowed to bring in additional equipment needed for event and is responsible for set up and removal

WE'LL HELP PROMOTE YOUR SHOW

 

  • Set your own hours for the show—space available to you         8am Friday through 2pm Monday

  • Advertising: NOCOAC will promote your event on FB & newsletter

    • Extra promotion: when select First Friday Art Walk Weekend website, Pirate Radio & flyer

RATE PER SHOW (solo or multi participants = flat fee)

Payment due with application - if not approved payment will be returned

  • First Friday weekend = $250 non-member, $200 NOCOAC member

  • Other weekends = $200 non-member, $150 NOCOAC member

  • Students with ID = 1/2 off member or non-member rates

  • $40 refundable cleanup/damage deposit 

    • REFUNDABLE CLEAN-UP & DAMAGE DEPOSIT: will be returned within 7 business days if space left as found it.                        

SET UP & TEAR DOWN


                ● SET UP = Space set up is the responsibility of person or group using the space
                                 ○ Folding chairs and folding tables will be available
                                 ○ AV equipment will be available 
                                 ○ Pegs will be available 

                                 ○ Drop cloths will be available


● TEAR DOWN = set up can remain in place
              ○ Tables, counters, microwave, coffee maker left clean at end of  reserved time
             ○ Pegs left in peg boards
             ○ Remove personal items

MANDITORY REQUIREMENT:

A Vendor Insurance Policy is needed to use this space for events which bring in equipment, artwork, and/or where damage to the property could occur.

  • It protects you from liability for customer injury or illness, property damage, and even advertising injury.

  • We would need a certificate of liability (COL) , which is a document issued by an insurance company to give evidence of a vendor's insurance coverage.

CANCELLATION POLICY


    ● No refunds, except cleanup deposit
        ○ Emergency cancellations will be  considered by the board regarding refund

ONCE APPROVED - needed for advertising:

Responsibility of artist to get the information into Candi - needs to be submitted at least 2 weeks before show or will not be advertised.
